What started out as my second return to Sturgis Rally Week
Turned out to be a 6 week vacation I visited 22
different states and road a few thousand miles
yep in my Harley!
The best part were all the days and nights I got to
share with my human family!

This photo won an award and became the cover for a calendar for
Labrador Harbor!

Vacationing is a dirty job, but some dogs got to do it!

One rain storm

After being got at the Gold Pan Saloon
Emma was sent to AA for not being able to hold her

Mom let me smell death because she thought I should experience it.

This was a spectacular year! We did so much riding it
was crazy. Got caught in my first MAJOR rain storm and was lucky to have
some brand new raingear with me. Met a friend George and we had our
first Annual Biker Dog Rally! Of course their were only two of us but
you know Sturgis darn near started that way too!

Sheriff George wrote a book for us!
Shutterfly Book and Pictures
In 2010 George passed away. :-(
Our hearts were so sadden with the emptiness we felt.
We were SO fortunate to be a small part of Georges spectacular life and
we are forever and positively effected by our friendship.
Georges human has since adopted another Bassett.
And we hear that Porter is taking a liking to a little biking now and
then! We will be making sure he is on the road with us this next summer.
Please let me introduce to you: our new friend Porter!

Arizona
Bike Week 2009
Anaheim to Phoenix and a side put to Tucson plus a couple of off the
beaten path attractions and II earned another 1050 miles under my tail.
We went to see Biosphere 2, remember that place were people tried to
live inside a bubble for a couple of years. Turned out to be very
interesting. Just when you think you are going to get bored, just
listen. You be amazed at what you can hear. We went to Cooperstown and
had lunch at Alice Coopers Restaurant. They seam to be known for funny
makeup and something called "The Big Unit" scared the heck out of me, I
am after all a very hot dog.

We went to tent city checked out motorcycles and people, check out
vendors and people, and I even saw a concert! Bike Week was great fun
but I am not much of "do the same thing everyone else is doing" kind of
dog. I love to ride, I mean I love to ride. So let go check out
the happenings but after that filler up and lets get back on the road.
That's me for you, always on the go!
