flow of clean oxygen to a pet suffering from smoke asphyxiation.

will be teaming up to raise awareness and funds
 for this life saving equipment for all household pets.

Pet Oxygen Masks are oxygen mask specifically designed coned shaped to fit muzzles and snouts of canine, felines and other household pets.
They belong in the hands of fire fighters and other first responders,
so that the right people have the right equipment to help save our pets lives
in cases of emergencies such as smoke and other breathing difficulties
typically associated with fires and other natural disasters.
Far too many pets die every year due to lack of ability to receive adequate oxygen.

Emma Zen and volunteers make up TEAM O2, a fundraising effort
donating the proper equipment to  fire departments and other first responders
in hopes of raising the number of successful attempts in resuscitate
our pets during times of emergencies.

1. Use door and/or Window Decals
            Called Alert Stickers, this indicates to first responders that a pet is in the home.

2. Change the batteries in your smoke detectors.
             This early warning system gives you and your pet a better chance of survival.

3. Take pet first aid and CPR
              Know what steps you can take to help your own pet in distress.

4. Donate to the proper equipment being available to our emergency services vehicles!

We are about "Implementation" not "donation"

What we have learned is that any company or individual can donate but the departments are not required to use any donations they receive. In order to assure that our Pet Oxygen Masks are on first response units.
The Emma Zen Foundation works behind the scenes to affirm the application of this emergency equipment. Therefore we have set a no time line approach on product delivery however to date have not found one station, department or city unwilling to work with us!

TEAM O2 was created to involve volunteers in our area to help raise enough funds to cover the counties and cities here in Southern California. If you live anywhere else we would like to share our information and help you create a team in your area! That information is contained within the "discussion" area too.
