Do everything, See everything, Experience everything!

I joined the Canine Hikers group for a number of
reasons.
Good exercise, new experiences and exposure to elements.
You can hike weekdays or weekends in our local mountain ranges.
It's a great club, friendly people, providing safe experiences.

I am so here! I have been waiting for Splash Dogs
to come back to California. If you don't know what I am talking
about you SO have to go check out there website.

All this learning while you play
will aid in my goal to become part of a Crisis Team
There's a method to my human's decisions. She started
gearing me early to become part of an Animal Assisted Crisis Response
Team. There are many requirements in your first few years of life
that will help make you a better adult dog and ready for
emergency response. You need to be an experienced
and active member of a
therapy program. (P.A.W.S.)
for a specific length of time. Then you should have
as many opportunities as possible to new environments.
(Hence, Canine Hikers and all the traveling that happens in my life.)
So that explains all the jobs I have.
Knowing your direction in life gives you an advantage,
and makes you able to best paw forward.

Sign we found on the road
Their statement is:
The National Animal Assisted Crisis Response Teams
whose mission is to
assist in the safe and effective
emotional rescue,
recovery and ongoing support to individuals and responders
who have been affected by crisis or disaster.
That is a great
objective.
I love the

I started hanging around stars
young!
Okay, so I joined the Orange County Astronomers Club,
but there were a lot of stars there!

My humans have a
telescope and they take me with them to
"Star Parties".
It is an honor to be allowed to attend as dog typically don't attend.
Telescopes nowadays are computerized,
GPS navigated, observatory-class
pieces of equipment which can come with some pretty high price tags.
They stand on tripods
and have many cords dangling around them and are
set up to
use through the blackest nights you can find. You must
minimize ANY
outside lights so even flashlights have dark paper over them so you can
barely see.
YOU MAY NOT KICK UP DUST. Astronomers HATE dust. You must keep your
ground movements minimal or as the doggie rule goes: NO PLAYING AROUND.
I am proud of myself. I behave so well that they let
me go to
all the parties.
They even gave me my own membership.
Thank you Orange County
Astronomers
for the recognition of my good behavior and including me in your club
membership.

Orange County Magazine wrote and article about
the OCA Club. My human was walking me before the sunset and the
reporter stopped to talk with her. He mentioned
that I was there at a star party. How cool, honorable Mention by
OC Magazine.

(Literally)
Emma's name has been associated with the star

Somewhere in New Mexico
My humans never leave the house without me.
I participate in everyday
errands.
We go on many day trips, hiking, parks, swimming,
dog activities, or
anything else we can
think of.
I spend about one weekend a month in a
local hotel
and go RVing as much as possible.
I see something new
everyday.
Each day regardless of where we are at
consist of of time to play, time to learn and time to share kisses.
I am a very balanced
dog.

Emma Zen Chiapuzio

I am so lucky, I must go there three times a week!

Emma and a dog park friend. I know, there is only one
picture of dog park?
Well that is because Dog Park pictures could be a website
all unto itself. And yes, we have thought of starting that.
But at this point you'll just have to trust if we took pictures
every time we went there. The internet would probably slow down.
If you are making arrangements to meet us there.
