August 2009 Sturgis South Dakota
1st Annual Biker Dog Rally
Yep that's how it started. Looks sort of funny to me today.
This is my friend George (RIP) and I sporting our stuff in a parade
in Edgemont South Dakota. We rode all over the Black Hills together that
year. It is year I will never forget.
And as George's life on earth ended our spirits road on!
We talked to so many people that year. Showed the public that what we
do, we do because we love it! and that traveling with your pet by
motorcycle can be fun and safe!
I know have video's on safety and give lectures on
how to maintain health and well being during your travels.
Being a biker dog means giving back!
When we are not teaching the public, we ride!!!
Come join us for our annual Biker Dog Rally!

How to

Proud
Parents of a Biker Dog!
What are those people doing to that dog?
The answers to a few questions we've
heard people ask.
 |
First of all
she enjoys it (see above) if she didn't we wouldn't let her
ride.
|
 |
Yes, she is
buckled in. She is harnessed to the seat from both sides.
|
 |
She has water
and when it is hot I use pedialyte for extra electrolytes.
|
 |
She wears
"Doggles" for eye protection (They just happen to look really
cute.) |
 |
She has
sunscreen on her nose and her ears. |
 |
We cover her
ears when the weather is cold or just to give her a break. |
 |
She wears
t-shirts to keep the sun off her. She has a jacket for the cold. |
 |
We stop every
hour and make her get out and move her body. |
 |
The
windshield isn't on because she doesn't like it. |
 |
And most
importantly, she loves it, it's her thing!
|
We practice safety first!
